DESCRIPTION:The Emerson Singers (children up through 5th grade) and the Fairly Frequent Singers (Junior and Senior High School age) will begin meeting on September 14. The Emerson Singers will meet from 5:00 to 5:40 p.m. and the Fairly Frequent Singers will meet from 5:45 to 6:25 p.m. in the Walker Room. Some rehearsals in September will be held outdoors. The choirs will follow all Church regulations regarding mask wearing and social distancing during rehearsals. All children are welcome to participate regardless of experience. DESCRIPTION:All-Church Open House and Blessing of the Bookbags- and Ice Cream!\nWednesday\, August 21\, 5-8 PM \nAll are welcome at our Open House\, Bookbag Blessing\, and Ice Cream Social. You’ll have a chance to chat with Charlie Berggren\, our Music Director and leader of the Adult Choir. Wander through the Religious Exploration rooms on both levels and meet this year’s RE teachers. Rev. Rebecca and Terina\, Director of Lifespan Religious Exploration\, will be available to answer questions and hear your ideas for the church year. If you’re thinking about joining a small group\, some of our Covenant Group Facilitators will be at the Open House. Gnagey and Stevenson Libraries will be open for checking out items in the collections. Have a little one at home? Our childcare room will be open to try out all the toys. \nIf you’d like\, bring some school supplies to share with kids in our area\, as well as any items you would like for those gathered to bless as you begin a new school and work year. \nAt 6:00\, everyone will be invited outside to bless those gathered items– and everyone will go home with a bag tag to remind you that your friends at UUBN are there for you.
