DESCRIPTION:Shut The Flock Off Meeting 5-20-2026\, 6:30 PM @ UUBN Fell Room \nSkip this paragraph if you know what Flock/ALPR cameras are – if not – Flock is a corporation that makes cameras built for mass warrantless real time surveillance of our city streets accessible by any enforcement agency with little oversight\, and in fact any person can easily get in due to notably outdated cheap technology and poor security\, all searchable in plain language and fed in real time to Palantir\, the same AI data and threat detection systems used to catch terrorists and execute military actions. It’s illegal for the government to monitor you in this way but somehow a for profit company can do it and simply sell the information to the government at your expense. This system has already had many proven instances of political and personal abuse\, and Flock has already been proven repeatedly to entirely fabricate claims of efficacy and data retention\, having already caused a growing number of communities to start pushing back. \nJoin us as we get together and welcome any new people then catch up on some team updates and discuss next steps.
