You do not need to attend all 4 sessions. \nJanuary 25 – Attitudes about Aging \nFebruary 22 – Family Matters \nMarch 29 – Sexuality and Loss \nApril 26 – Body Image \nParticipants should be 50 years old or older. This is also appropriate for people with partners 50 or older\, and those working with older adults (ex. social workers\, family therapists\, long-term care providers\, personal aides\, adult children of older parents). Led by trained facilitators (Sandy Aronen and Terina Carter)\, this holistic sexuality education program for older adults models and fosters caring\, compassion\, respect\, and justice. This program is comprehensive and progressive\, addressing sexuality with candor\, sensitivity\, and respect for older adults’ wisdom and life experience.

DESCRIPTION:Lend Your Voice to the Singing Resistance!\nSunday\, February 22\, 4:00-5:30 PM\, Sanctuary\nDo you like to sing? Are you interested in using music to work for justice? If so\, you are invited to join us 4-5:30 pm February 22 in the sanctuary. We’ll share more information and begin to learn songs together. \n  \nThese are the organizing principles from this nation-wide movement: \nWe are building a large movement of singers that is radically welcoming. \nIn the context of rising authoritarianism\, we believe we need a mass civil resistance that uses a diversity of tactics including noncooperation\, protest\, and mutual aid. \nWe take regular action\, grounded in solidarity and noncooperation. \nWe sing not only for the world we want to create\, but to create that world right here and now. \nWe seek to end all oppressive systems. \nWe sing songs that are simple\, taught by ear\, are relevant to these times\, and that communicate deep themes of grief\, solidarity\, love\, resistance\, and more. \nWould you like more information?
