All-Church Open House and Blessing of the Bookbags- and Ice Cream!
Wednesday, August 21, 5-8 PM

All are welcome at our Open House, Bookbag Blessing, and Ice Cream Social. You’ll have a chance to chat with Charlie Berggren, our Music Director and leader of the Adult Choir. Wander through the Religious Exploration rooms on both levels and meet this year’s RE teachers. Rev. Rebecca and Terina, Director of Lifespan Religious Exploration, will be available to answer questions and hear your ideas for the church year. If you’re thinking about joining a small group, some of our Covenant Group Facilitators will be at the Open House. Gnagey and Stevenson Libraries will be open for checking out items in the collections. Have a little one at home? Our childcare room will be open to try out all the toys.

If you’d like, bring some school supplies to share with kids in our area, as well as any items you would like for those gathered to bless as you begin a new school and work year.

At 6:00, everyone will be invited outside to bless those gathered items– and everyone will go home with a bag tag to remind you that your friends at UUBN are there for you.
