We offer an introductory class called New(ish) to UUBN, a 2-hour class that covers history, UU values, and information about our church 3 or 4 times a year. If you are interested in learning more about our church and our faith, we encourage you to attend.

Once you have been participating in our church for awhile, you may want to attend Exploring Membership, two 2-hour classes. We go into more depth about the information from New(ish) to UUBN plus UU philosophy, church teams and governance, pledging, and membership. This class is usually offered 3 times a year.

We recommend that you become involved in whatever aspect of UUBN that interests you before deciding to become a member. Besides these classes, this will enable you to meet people and explore how Unitarian Universalism is important to you and the wider community.

If you decide to become a member, signing the membership book is the official act of membership. From there you can more fully enjoy the benefits of membership.
