Please join us on July 16th at 1 PM in the sanctuary or on Zoom as pianist/teacher/composer Angela Salvaggione performs a recital of Lebanese piano music, both classical and contemporary. The program will consist of several important Lebanese composers of the past (Sabra, Farah, Baz, Succar and Gelalian) as well as current composers Georges Sawan, Tony Gemayel, Houtaf Khoury, Ramzi bou Kamel, and Wajdi Abou Diab. Angela shares this music with full permissions from all living composers and supports Lebanese musicologist Fady Jeanbart in his research and promotion of early Lebanese music, as well Wajdi Abou Diab and his living Lebanese Composers Channel project on YouTube.
