As you know, Finance isn’t the most important thing we do at UUBN, but it makes the important things possible.
How shall we “Find our Balance?” Our 2022 pledge drive was $38,000 short of balancing our budget. Recently, we asked the congregation how we should attempt to make up this deficit and a majority of the respondents said that they thought a supplemental pledge campaign was a good idea. We are calling this campaign “Finding our Balance.”
We have big dreams for UUBN as we move into a new phase of the coronavirus pandemic.
· We want to enhance our relationships with one another and deepen our spiritual lives.
· We want to be a place where folks with a variety of beliefs can find comfort and challenge.
· We want to continue to be a welcoming presence for LGBTQIA folks in the community.
· We want to continue our work to become anti-racist and anti-oppressive.
With your help on this campaign, we will be able to do all of this in a sustainable way. The campaign will run July 10-31. You may contribute by check (made out to UUBN, memo Finding our Balance) or credit card via Vanco/Finding our Balance. Alternatively, you can increase your 2022 pledge amount by emailing Nancy Armstrong, our Treasurer, at narmstr908@aol.com.
All amounts are welcome! We would like to publicly thank those who contribute (amounts contributed will not be public). If you wish to remain anonymous, please contact Emile at Emile@ejgarneau.com or 630-269-1152.
Thank you for all of your contributions to UUBN. We would not be the same without them!
