Memorial Garden Stewards

After a few years of preparation and planning, the Memorial Garden was established in 2007. Congregation members and friends worked together on all aspects; creating the rich soil from their households’ compost and leaves on the church grounds, laying the pavers, and planting the perennials. Over 90 bricks bear the names of UUBN members and friends. It has been lovingly cared for by many over the years. Memorial Stewards prepare the garden for memorial services, add additional plantings as needed, prune in the spring, and handle any other projects needed. All are invited to participate in the annual clean-up traditionally held after church on the fourth Sunday in April with lunch following. The WWW (weed, whack, water) Crew take turns checking in on the garden weekly June through September.
If you are interested in joining the WWW Crew, please contact the Office at [email protected].
