Terina Carter

Terina joined our staff team as Interim Director of Lifespan Religious Education (DLRE) in May 2017 and we asked her to stay in January 2018. Terina has been a member of the church since 2011, volunteering as a worship associate, a member of the Board of Directors and the Religious Education Committee, and facilitating Our Whole Lives, two summers of Peace Camp, and Sunday morning Religious Exploration. She is trained to facilitate all levels of Our Whole Lives Sexuality Education.
Terina lives in Normal with her partner Tom, their two children, two dogs, two rabbits, and one elder turtle. She serves our community as a 4-H club co-leader, co-administrator of Secular Homeschoolers of Bloomington-Normal, social media manager for PFLAG, and represents our church in our Gender Expansive Resource Center partnership with Prairie Pride Coalition.
